Throughout 2019, children all across the country and all over the world will be participating in various Spelling/ Math Regional Bees and National Bees and Robotics contests. IAVA is proud to introduce this platform to encourage children to participate in such contests and also give them an experience of what it takes to participate in such contests. The IAVA Education Day 2019 would consist of three competitions
Spelling Bee :- Category 1- Grade 2 - 5, Category 2 - Grade 6 - 8.
Math Bee :- Category 1- Grade 2 - 5, Category 2 - Grade 6 - 8. ( Grade level winners would be announced)
Robotics :- Category 1- VEX IQ Challenge ( Team), Category 2 - Individual. ( No age limit in any categories)
Robotics would be conducted in two categories. In the first category which is a team competition ( Team consists of two students), you would be evaluated against the VEX IQ competition. The rules for the competition can be found here. In the second category, you can participate as an individual. A robot will be provided to the student in working condition and points given based on how fast and efficiently you can drive to achieve the given task. Winners to be announced based on judges discretion of how fast and efficiently, you achieve the objective.
