About The Event

 

Wellness Retreat includes 5 different styles of yoga, Zumba, Chakra healing, and Yoga Nidra. The program is designed to give an individual a relaxed body, mind, and breath at the same time breaking the monotony with an array of programs and making it fun and not boring at all.

1. Vinyasa Flow Yoga: This is a yoga style which is a flowing, dynamic sequence of poses that is one of the most popular styles of yoga across the world. The fluid, almost dance-like movements increase flexibility, strength, and stamina as it calms the mind and improves overall health.

2. Zumba: It is a fun exercise fitness program which mixes dance moves along with aerobics. It not just offers a perfect dance workout but also makes it fun and entertaining at the same time. You will move to some of the best Bollywood and other genre songs.

3. Yin Yoga: This style of yoga is slow paced with long holds of poses which will help you get deeper stretches and release all the toxins and stress from the body. At the end of the session, you will have a better blood circulation, calm mind, better joint mobility and complete bliss.

4. Yoga Nidra: An hour of yoga Nidra equals to 4 hours of your regular sleep. In this process we are going to take you into a deeper state of relaxation where you are neither fully awake nor fully asleep, you are in a deep meditative state.

5. Chakra Healing: This is the process aiming at influencing how energy moves through the energy centers/Chakras of the body. We will learn techniques aimed towards purifying our energy body towards better physical, emotional and mental health.

Trainers:

 

Krishna Kumar

Krishna Kumar is a yoga practitioner, instructor, facilitator, and teacher-trainer. He has 12+ years of experience in teaching, training, mentoring, and coaching students in diverse fields of science and arts. A yoga student and practitioner from his childhood days, Krishna always had an appreciation for this ancient form and uses various traditional and modern approaches of yoga including Vinyasa & Hatha styles of yoga, along with Yin and Restorative yoga, Pranayama and Meditation techniques that not only help enhance strength, endurance, flexibility but he also gives individual attention to correct alignment and posture; his students see improvements in their physical ailments such as sciatica and back pain.
With his knowledge about the human anatomy, asana alignment, yoga philosophy and Sanskrit texts, Krishna has trained over 5000 yoga practitioners & teachers of all ages across the globe. In the 9+ years of teaching and facilitating yoga as an ERYT 500 (Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher 500).
His corporate clientele includes Hitachi, Tata Consultancy Services, D. E. Shaw, Dr. Reddys, Google, BSNL, Bank of America, Infosys, Cavium Networks, Kotak Mahindra, amongst many others. He has taught yoga for over 6 months at the “Happy Streets” public events organized by Times of India group and is an ongoing yoga facilitator for various Decathlon events. He also helps spread awareness of yoga through various TV programmes and has organized and conducted ‘108 Suryanamaskaras’ events.

Susheel Jain

Susheel Jain started his yoga teaching career in January 2010 with Traditional group classes at Infosys and UBS in Hyderabad. He has done my Traditional Yoga training in the University of Hyderabad in 2009. Later he has done his Vinyasa Yoga TTC from Anahata Yoga Zone in 2015.
He is a certified yoga teacher and has taught and conducted his famous yoga classes in Infosys, UBS, Trident Hotels, Park Hotels, Apollo Hospitals, ICICI Bank etc
He has also conducted special workshops for corporate companies in chair and office yoga.
Recently conducted a 30 Hour Aerial Yoga TTC in Goa. He also takes personal classes for various Indian and International students. He has trained yoga teachers in Goa and China since last year.
He has also worked in MNCs like Wipro and Amazon after doing my MBA before turning into a full-time yoga teacher. In his free time, he does further studies of yoga, meditation, and volunteers for the art of living courses and programs.

Mercy Mudo

Mercy is a certified Zumba Instructor and Certified Reebok Fitness Instructor with 10 Years of experience in Fitness Industry. She is also a Marathon runner and an active Trekker and Rock climber. Also she has done Beledi belly dance certification. She has experience of taking Zumba Fitness classes at large corporates, colleges, gated communities etc in Hyderabad. She also takes regular Zumba classes across different places in Hyderabad.
