As the fall school year rapidly approaches, The Arizona Friends of Foster Children Foundation (AFFCF), located at 360 East Coronado Road, is pleased to announce its new Recharge… Reconnect… Reward program that serves to support foster youth returning to school. “Our mission has always been to support foster children and as this new school year approaches, many are more in need of school supplies than ever,” says Kris Jacober, executive director of the Arizona Friends of Foster Children Foundation. “This program will help ensure these youth have something to look forward to and that their basic educational needs are met.” The AFFCF asked teachers, professionals and parents what students are in need of most to ensure a great school year — and the non-profit organization is funding these important items through their new Recharge… Reconnect… Reward program. Beginning Monday, August 10, applications for the education support initiative will be available.
