San Francisco Zen Center Meditation Session - Virtual in San Francisco
Learn how to meditate with one of the teachers from the San Francisco Zen Center. This virtual session for beginners will introduce you to the benefits of meditation, which can help settle the body and mind amid the swirl of daily life. Sitting in a balanced posture creates a steady calm that, with training, can become the way you meet whatever arises. Please wear loose, comfortable clothing and find a good place to sit, or lie down, during the session. Online sessions with San Francisco Zen Center will also be held on the second Saturdays of each month in 2021 from 10:30–11:30 a.m. Dr. Liping Zhu (Dec 19, 2020) Dr. Liping Zhu, founder of Qi Dragon Healing Center and Heavenly Essence Qigong Institute, Inc., is a licensed acupuncturist and a Qigong and Tai Chi teacher in the lineages of Heavenly Essence Qigong and Taiyi Swimming Dragon Taichi. Dr. Zhu spent 10 years in residency at the San Francisco Zen Center where she received her Zen training and became Shuso (head student) in 2010. After teaching and practicing in San Francisco for more than 20 years, Dr. Zhu is now continuing her teaching and healing work in Humboldt County, California.
