Tom Loeser: Please Please Please

Tom Loeser: Please Please Please highlights the work of this internationally known figure, whose woodworking practice spans over thirty years, incorporating multiple approaches, transforming the field and inspiring the generations that have followed. The artist’s primary question is, “If the furniture we sit on every day were totally different, would our lives be different too?” Accessible and entertaining, Loeser’s works function to shake up our habits, encouraging us to be playful with our environment and one another. Tom Loeser: Please Please Please is co-presented by the Houston Center for Contemporary Craft and the Museum of Craft and Design and curated by Glenn Adamson.
