4-day (12 hr.) workshop for yoga students, teachers and newcomers

in community to explore the ancient practice of Traditional Tantra
Yoga, as taught by Bhagavan Shri Shanmukha of Tantra Mela, previously
named Shri Kali Ashram. The Tantras are the underlying principles of the
Vedas and the Indian life science of Ayurveda. The aim of the practice
is to balance our internal system (hormones/prana/chi) through a
methodical combination of āsanas (postures), prāṇāyāma (breath work) and
Vedic philosophy - leading to achieved relaxation on and off your mat.

lineage has been interpreted directly from the Trika (Kashmiri
Shaivism) tradition, called Kaula Tantra, which involves the practice of
all aspects of yoga (āsanas, prāṇāyāma, bandhas (body locks), mantra
(sacred sound), yantra (geometric symbols), puja (ritual), kuṇḍalinī
(prana), chakras (energy centers), dhyāna (meditation), dhāraṇā
(concentration), samādhi (union/merging with the Infinite), and
Āyurvedic walking massage.

For this introduction to a lifetime of
material, the focus will be on concepts applicable to everyone.
Resources will be shared on topics not covered. You will be given a
manual and also encouraged to take notes.

Each day will consist of
one Tantra Yoga physical asana practice and one lecture, with time for
discussion in between. Various pranayama and bandha exercises will be
interwoven. The main difference between the āsanas of Tantra and other
styles of yoga is the set sequence of poses that make up each series.
Through repetition and stillness, the body shifts into optimal
ergonomics and total health on an unconscious level.

The specific series taught include:

- Tri Dosha: the bread and butter of Tantra

- Viyama: the standing series

- Dand Flow: the strengthening series

- Happy Hips: the seated series

The lectures will include:

- History of Yoga and Tantra

- Dharma: the formula for freedom

- Dinarcharyia: the Ayurvedic daily routine

- Ahamkara and Chod Practice: the return to your infinite nature

is a monistic (advaita) science that teaches integration and oneness
with the auspicious Divine. This concept of wholesomeness is reflected
in all teachings. Tantra is not an academic philosophy, but a life
practice. Since you cant separate the mind from the body, before you
can learn to meditate, one must first achieve harmony within ones body.
Tantrics see the body as an expression of the soul, not just a physical

Thus we offer a unique traditional system of āsanas,
prāṇāyāma and bandhas to train the body, mind and subtle energy system
(nāḍis). Through our āsanas, students not only build strength and
flexibility, but also energy, grace, fluidity and inner harmony. Our
unique teaching style enables our students to master their āsanas and
meditation in a short time. In Tantra Yoga, āsanas take you to deeper
meditation. We emphasize meditation (Dhāraṇā / Dhyāna / Bhāvanā /
Samādhi) to enable students to attain oneness with the Divine self.” —

reset by Tantric metaphysics and open up to achieving a wholesome life
culture by dropping what we dont need. This yoga is a space for total
freedom and expression of self, as we “pierce the veil” that obscures
our awareness of limitless potential in the quickest and most effective

lifelong student of traditional yoga and Eastern mysticism, lover of
all things natural and on a mission to bring you back to wholeness.
Taylor was fortunate enough to be introduced to yoga in her adolescence.
Over the last 15 years, she has immersed herself in the traditional
practice as a spiritual life science to help find her true purpose,
reduce pain/stress, and to restore self-love and centeredness regardless
of external circumstances. Along her journey, which included a
three-month stay at Shri Kali Ashram in Thailand for the 500hr
Traditional Tantra Yoga teacher training, Taylor continues to return to
her Dharma, which in Sanskrit refers to the real self. A yogi, doula and
educator seeking to provide space in which people of all walks of life
feel honored, supported and loved. Taylor looks forward to sharing this
practice and esoteric knowledge with you.
